Return & Refund Policy

Overview

Thank you for purchasing my digital products. As my Max for Live devices and synthesizer presets are digital downloads that cannot be returned in the conventional sense, all sales are generally considered final. However, I understand that issues can occur, and I strive to ensure customer satisfaction.

Compatibility & Requirements

  • Before purchasing, it is the customer's responsibility to verify that their system meets all the stated requirements and compatibility specifications listed on the product page.
  • I strongly recommend reviewing all product descriptions, specifications, and compatibility requirements carefully before completing your purchase.
  • Products are compatible only with the software versions and systems explicitly stated in the product description.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following limited circumstances:

Technical Failure: If the product doesn't function as described in its specifications and I cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time frame.

Refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Compatibility issues when your system does not meet the clearly stated requirements
  • Change of mind or "not as expected" scenarios
  • User error or improper installation
  • Purchases made more than 14 days prior

Refund Process

If you believe you qualify for a refund:

  1. Contact me using the site's contact form or at sam@simple-machines.net within 14 days of purchase
  2. Include your order number and a detailed explanation of the issue
  3. I will review your request and aim to respond within 3 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method

Customer Satisfaction

While this policy outlines my official stance on refunds, I evaluate each situation individually and am committed to reasonable solutions that maintain customer satisfaction.

I reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website.
