Shapeshifter

Shapeshifter is a real-time Max for Live MIDI effect that makes it quick and easy to musically shape the velocity of incoming MIDI notes based on the transport position.

Features:

• Automatically adapts to the time signature and user-selected subdivisions.
• Four knobs provide quick and easy control of the different subdivision levels (ex. downbeat, beats, off-beats, subdivisions).
• Additional knob to set the amount of random, repeating deviation from each subdivision's velocity value.
• Comes bundled with Shapeshifter-T, a complementary MIDI Transformer that shapes the velocity values of a MIDI clip using the same engine as Shapeshifter.

Compatibility:

• Requires Ableton Live 12 Standard (with the Max for Live add-on) or Ableton Live 12 Suite.
